Announcements: words to copy

Replace everything in [brackets]. Keep the date, the time with its time zone, and the place in the first lines: that is what people look for.

On the common-lisp.net calendar

Post at https://common-lisp.net/meetings/. The form asks for each part on its own; the description can be as short as this:

[Speaker] shows [what], then lightning talks and time to hack. Bring a laptop if you have one; newcomers welcome, we will help you get a Lisp running. [Food and drinks provided by our host, Example Ltd.]

A meeting that repeats is posted once, with how it repeats.

Asking for a speaker

We are looking for a speaker for [date]. Twenty minutes on anything you have done with Lisp: a library, a project at work, a bug that took a week, a book you liked. It does not need to be polished, and first-time speakers are very welcome: we are a friendly room. Reply to me or talk to me at the next meeting.
